"Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms". 1 Peter 4:10
ARE YOU IN?

OPPORTUNITIES:
Exploring Membership Class Coordinator: The Exploring Membership Class Coordinator supports a smooth and welcoming experience for those beginning their membership journey at Bible Center. This role prepares a full roster of participants at least one week before each class, reaches out with reminders and key details, and ensures the class is fully equipped on the day of—ordering food, assembling supplies, setting water at each table, and preparing all applications and handouts. The coordinator works closely with the Bible Center Office Administrator to keep communication clear, logistics organized, and every participant cared for from start to finish.
Coffee Minister Join our Family Coffee Ministry! It is a simple and meaningful way to serve through hospitality and connection. You help to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere by greeting others and serving coffee before our worship service. The commitment is Sundays from 8:30-9:50am, with flexibility to serve once per month or more if desired-it's not a lifetime commitment.
FOOD PANTRY VOLUNTEER
Sign-Up by Clicking HERE to sort, stock, pack and distribute non-perishable food items to our participants. The pantry will be open on Wednesdays, 4-7pm and Saturdays, 10am-12pm. Training will be provided.
Follow-Up Coordinator
Loving God and Loving People can be demonstrated as we send cards and follow-up with our first time guests. This is a once per week, one-hour commitment. If you are interested, please contact our administrative office at 412-242-4920, option 1.
Connection Partner When you're a new member, it's great to have someone to connect with, someone who you can call to ask questions or call for prayer. The connection partner comes along side new members, makes them feel welcomed, invites them and goes with them to various events and Bible Studies and checks in on the New Member at least once per month.
Ushers (outdoor, parking lot, and online) and Greeters
If hospitality is what drives you, being an Usher can be a perfect ministry opportunity! Ushers and Greeters assist congregation members and guests with entering for worship, finding their seats, and attending to needs and questions during the Worship service.
Children & Youth Ministers
If you have a love for our most precious gifts, our children, and desire to see them grow and be nurtured in their faith, this may be the space for you to minister. All of our children and youth ministers must pass all required clearances and have a deep commitment to serve.
Prayer Partners
On Tuesdays, Thursday, Saturdays, and Sundays, Prayer Partners are given prayer intentions and requests for community members right here in Bible Center. If you wish to use your gift of intercession, please consider ministering as a Prayer Partner to support your fellow Bible Center community members in their relationship with Christ.
Audio-Visual Ministry
The technology aspects of worship service are important for everyone to be able to hear and receive the word of God. Previous experience with Audio-Visual is encouraged, but most of all, an eagerness to learn and serve is what makes this a great ministry.
Fellowship Leader
If you enjoy gathering people for fun and activities that promote unity, the fellowship ministry is your opportunity. Our Fellowship Leader along with a team of ministry volunteers plans and hosts Bible Center events such as our church picnic, church trips, weddings, birthday celebrations, homegoing services, conferences and retreats.
