Job Title: After-School Crew Leader
Classification: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Reports To: Director, The Maker’s Clubhouse
Salary Range: $16-$18 per hour

Key Qualifications & Responsibilities:
· Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing high-quality out-of-school time programming.
· Possess the ability, desire, and passion to engage, mentor, and build meaningful relationships with school-aged youth.
· Demonstrate patience, enthusiasm, creativity, and a positive attitude when working with children.
· Have the ability to use positive behavior support and behavior modification techniques appropriately and consistently.
· Demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills.
· Be dependable, responsible, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
· Have access to reliable transportation.
· Be able to obtain and maintain all required clearances and certifications, including:
o Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance
o Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check
o FBI Fingerprint/Background Check
o National Sex Offender Registry Check
o Mandated Reporter Training Certification
The Maker’s Clubhouse Out of School Time Program operates throughout the school year and summer.
· 2:45p.m. – 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
· Locations include Faison Elementary School and Lincoln Elementary School
The After School Crew Leader works in an active educational and youth development environment. The position requires the ability to:
· Stand and walk for extended periods.
· Bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout program spaces.
· Participate in active games and recreational activities.
· Lift and/or carry items weighing up to 25 pounds at times.
· Maintain active supervision of children in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments.
The Community Care Worker supports individuals and families experiencing challenges by connecting them with essential resources, services, and community support. This role also helps reduce the stigma and misconceptions surrounding the need for assistance by fostering a compassionate, respectful, and empowering environment where people feel comfortable seeking help.
Job Title: C.H.A.P.E.L. Community Care Worker
Classification: Part-Time, Non-Exempt
Reports To: Director, C.H.A.P.E.L. Program

Starting Salary: $22.50 per hour

- Demonstrated empathy, patience, and genuine care for individuals and families
- Willingness and ability to work with clients from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and lived-experience backgrounds
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Computer Software usage—Microsoft Word, Email, Zoom,
- Ability to maintain professionalism, boundaries, and confidentiality
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage time effectively
- Comfortable working in community settings and engaging with the public
- Commitment to learning about mental health, trauma-informed care, and community resources
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and conduct regular appointments with program participants
- Build supportive, empathetic relationships with individuals and families
- Provide information, referrals, and access to appropriate community and mental-health resources
- Participate in required training and ongoing professional development
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all program, organizational, and legal standards
- Submit documentation, reports, and case notes accurately and on time
- Support community outreach events, awareness campaigns, and educational activities
- Maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, insurance, and an in-service mobile phone
- Obtain and maintain all background clearances required by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and Child Protective Services Law
