Job Overview:
We are seeking a responsible and reliable On-Call Preschool Assistant Teacher to join our team. This position will have standard hours each week, but also requires flexibility and availability to work on short notice during business hours. The ideal candidate will assist the Director and teaching staff in providing a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for young children. You will be expected to support classroom activities, ensure children's safety, and help with daily routines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the daily care and supervision of preschool-aged children
- Implement activities and lessons under the guidance of the lead teacher
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
- Foster positive, respectful relationships with children, parents, and staff
- Ensure all children are accounted for and always supervised
- Assist with snacks, lunch, and nap routines
- Support classroom management and behavior guidance strategies
- Communicate effectively with team members and parents as needed
Requirements:
- A dedication and passion for the nurture and education of young children
- A positive personality with high energy
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation and the ability to come in on short notice
- Strong work ethics, reliability, and punctuality are essential.

Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Classification: Non-exempt, Part-Time

Salary: $14-$18/hr

Bible Center Church (BCC) and its Community and Economic Development division, The Oasis Project (TOP), seeks a part-time Maintenance & Repair Specialist for the various properties associated with the Bible Center Campus in Homewood.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14 - $18 per hour
Expected hours: 15-30 hours per week

Work Location: In person
- HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing & Carpentry skills are desired
- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Space Set-up and Break-Down

- Performing basic maintenance tasks
- Responding to cleaning emergencies (spills, biohazards, etc.)
Qualifications

Job Title: Barista and Deli Assistant
Classification: Non-Manager, Part-Time
Reports To: Everyday Café Manager
Salary: $13/hr + Tips

• Delivers phenomenal customer service to all customers by having a positive attitude and delivering a great experience
• Follows Everyday Cafe’s operational policies and procedures
• Provides quality food and beverages consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards
• Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
• Available to perform many different tasks within the café during each shift
Core Hours: The Café is currently open Monday through Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Your shift will be determined in conjunction with the Café Manager.
Physical Environment: Job will require walking, standing for 8-hour shifts, bending and may involve lifting up to 25 pounds
