Job Title: Lead Teacher, The Maker’s Clubhouse Early Learning Center

Classification: Exempt, Full-Time

Hiring Salary: $44,000

 

 

Vision:

 

Bible Center Church (BCC) and its Community and Economic Development division, The Oasis Project (TOP), seeks a full-time Preschool Teacher for The Maker’s Clubhouse Early Learning Center. The Maker’s Clubhouse Early Learning Center is among the region’s finest early childhood educational institutions. The lead teacher will be responsible for the academic and social-emotional growth and development of children, while working with parents.

 

 

Key Qualifications:

 

·        The ideal candidate must possess a four-year degree in early childhood education or a related field or a child development associate degree with three to five years’ experience in an early childhood classroom

·        The ideal candidate will have experience with lesson planning and the practice of teaching

·        The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills

·        The ideal candidate will have knowledge of and experience with individualized education plans for children with special learning and behavioral needs

·        The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills

·        The ideal candidate will have a collaborative mindset and be able to provide positive, honest, and constructive feedback to his/her colleagues

Key Responsibilities:

 

·        Provide a nurturing and stimulating school environment to facilitate children’s growth, exploration, and participation

·        Provide a classroom culture that encourages parent participation

·        Maintain ongoing, open communication with parents and caregivers in a confidential and professional manner

·        Plan parent conferences to discuss the developmental progress, interests and needs of the children

·        Monitor, address and document issues and concerns in a timely manner

·        Create weekly plans and implement age-appropriate curricula that nurtures and stimulates all domains of each child’s development

·        Creates and distributes monthly parent newsletters

·        Assist the Early Learning Center director with childcare regulatory compliance

·        Promotes good working relationships amongst the staff

·        Appropriately delegates tasks within the team, building on the strengths of the team

·        Works collaboratively with the early learning center director and senior leadership to ensure a unified approach to education and care of the children

This job will require walking, standing, bending and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds, at times.

Job Title: Early Learning Center Assistant Teacher

Classification: Part-time, Hourly, 30-40 hours per week

Reports To: Center Director

Payrate: $16/hr.

 

Key Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in early childhood education or a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential preferred
  • Experience working with young children
  • Must meet all state clearance requirements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Patient and compassionate to young children's needs and emotions
  • The ideal candidate will be flexible and creative

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with other teachers to implement an age-appropriate curriculum
  • Prepare for lessons by gathering materials or setting up activities
  • Lead children through activities that promote their academic, social, emotional, spiritual, and physical growth
  • Help maintain student records of behavior and progress and keep parents up to date on their child's development and learning
  • Engage and encourage students to use their language skills; develop social skills and manners
  • Monitor students' playtime and physical activities
  • Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning of materials
  • Enforce school-wide safety procedures
  • Supervise students in class, between classes, during lunch, and play periods
  • Ensure space and learning materials are clean, sanitized, and orderly
  • Other duties as assigned

Job Title:            CHAPEL PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR

Classification:   Non-Manager, Part-Time (20-25 hours per week, hybrid remote)

Reports To:       CHAPEL Program Director

Salary:                $25 - $27/hr.


Key Qualifications:

·        An associate degree or higher is preferred with relevant experience

·        Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within a community health or non-profit setting

·        Prior experience coordinating community-based projects or health programs, is highly desirable

·        Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and strong computer skills

·        Exceptional organizational and time management skills; capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively

·        Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups including community members, church leaders, and mental health professionals

·        Knowledge of the mental health field and community resources is desirable but not required


 

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

·        Coordinate logistics for training sessions and community events, including securing locations, setting dates, and arranging necessary support services like meals, transportation, and childcare

·        Provide in person support for trainings, educational sessions, visits to churches, and conference planning

·        Manage schedules and organize internal and external meetings, ensuring all logistical aspects are handled efficiently

·        Provide administrative support including ordering materials, checking and responding to messages, and handling written and social media correspondence

·        Assist in managing the program budget and processing payroll for Community Care Workers

·        Work closely with the Director to streamline operations and support the strategic objectives of the program

Job Title:       CDL Bus Driver

Classification  Non-manager, part-time

Reports To:    Director Business & Ministry Operations

Salary:            $18-$20/hr.

 

 

Key Qualifications:

·        CPR and First Aid certification

·        CDL driver's license with Passenger Endorsement

·        Critical thinker

·        Strong reflexes

·        Patient with others

·        Solves problems effectively

·        Works well with others

·        Consistently punctual

·        High School Diploma (or equivalent)

·        Two to five years of a save driving record

·        Strong eyesight

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

·        Ensure the safety of passengers during scheduled trips

·        Aid passengers in safely boarding and deboarding the vehicles

·        Drive along established routes to local destinations

·        Transport passengers who are primarily school age children

·        Daily cleaning of the interior of bus including seats, floors, and windows

·        Provide information on schedules and stops

·        Report delays, mechanical problems, and accidents immediately

 


Physical Environment: Job will require sitting, bending and may involve lifting up to 25 pounds.
