Breakfast at Lincoln Elementary School
On Thursday, August 22nd, we will bless the teachers at Lincoln Elementary School (328 Lincoln Ave.) with a hot breakfast. Lincoln will be a second site for The Maker’s Clubhouse, Bible Center’s after-school program, beginning in September. Women’s Fellowship Outing: Power of Laughter Health Workshop and Comedy Luncheon on Saturday, September 7th from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. (If you’d like transportation, we will leave the WARM Center at 10:15 a.m.). The cost is $20 (transportation, lunch, entertainment, and giveaways are included). If attending, please indicate on the sign-up sheet if you need transportation and if you would like a vegetarian lunch. Please make checks payable to Bible Center or give payment to Pastor Cynthia, as we will purchase tickets as a group. All attendees are asked to wear red to the event. All payment is due today (8/18) as tickets will be purchased this week. If special payment arrangements are needed, please see Pastor Cynthia.
Men’s Ministry Meetings are on the 4th Saturday of the month. Please join the Men of Bible Center next Saturday, on August 24th at the Triplex (7238 Fleury Way) beginning at 10am for fellowship and ministry planning.

70th COGIC Holy Convocation: Services start on Monday, August 19th with the Annual Pre-Musical at 7:30pm. Evening services are at 7pm Tuesday through Friday at First Church of God in Christ (2502 Centre Ave.). Our very own Sister Marci Huguley will be one of the featured speakers for the Thursday 11:30am service for Women's Day, if you're able to attend please come out and show your support! Saturday's Alliance Breakfast will be from 9:30am - 11:30am followed immediately by State Sunday School until 1pm. Bishop James M. Foster will deliver the official annual message Sunday, August 25th at 2pm.
