2026 21-Day Fasting (Feasting with the Father) Plan

Journey with the Bible Center Family as we fast and seek the Lord together, January 5th-24th.

John 10:10 I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance [to the full, until it

overflows].

As we launch into 2026, we look to God with great expectation and hope to experience His

abundant life. In order to move us forward in our mission—we love God, we love people, we

live like Jesus (i.e., being disciples), we will begin the year with a time of fasting (feasting) on God's Word,

fasting from food and abstaining from anything else that hinders our efforts to become more

like Christ.

2 Corinthians 7:1 Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves

from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfec6ng holiness out of reverence for God.

WHO? The entire Bible Center Church Family (and anyone else you invite to join you!)

WHAT? We will launch 2026 with a year-long feast on the Old Testament Scriptures and a 21-day fast from food.

The reading plan can be found on the "Bible Reading" tab here on bcpgh.info.

WHEN? Fasting—Sunup Monday, January 5th, 2026 – Sundown Saturday, January 24th

WHERE? Make an appointment to meet with God at a specific time and place every day.

WHY? We are fasting in order to deepen our relationship with God and to walk in step with His

plan and purpose for our individual lives and for our church. One way to do this is to redirect

our food source. The overall goal is to spend more time with God, to experience a genuine hunger for Him, to hear His voice,

get in position to hear from our GPS (God's Powerful Spirit), to learn HIS WILL, HIS WAY.

HOW? This is accomplished through substituting our regular food intake with Bible

reading, prayer and meditation.

  1. Fasting—Pray for God’s direction and select the type of fast that will stretch you and maximize your ability to hear and receive from God.
  2. Spend time with God. Use the H.E.A.R. Journal and our daily Bible Reading plan right here on bcpgh.info.
  3. Spend time with your church family in prayer and Bible Study.
